Welcome to Infomate, the unique site where you control the content. Forget heavy-handed administrators and over-zealous moderators. Here, you decide what goes and what stays. This is your community and your site, where the power lies in your hands.
Infomate is a self-regulatory, information sharing community. Our concepts are based on openness, relevancy and promoting equal rights for all members of community.

There are many news portals, forums and sites available online allowing users to share information. These sites are regulated by administrators, who have the power to delete posts and suspend users as they see fit. The problem is, many administrators do not use their power correctly. Some may suspend members just because they don’t agree with what they say or stand for, rather than for any legitimate reason. Perhaps you have been unlucky enough to be banned from a web resource by an unfair administrator. You will have tried out other similar sites, and perhaps come across more of the same. We want to change that, and give the power back to the users. You are, after all, the ones that make the sites successful. At Infomate, we completely reject the idea of external administration and transfer full control over the whole website to users themselves.
In an attempt to realise this ambitious idea, we have created a specialised voting system for all content, including stories, comments, tags and users. The decisions made on this site rely upon or are the result of votes cast by people who actually use the site. Read more

Welcome to our web site
Hi everybody and welcome to our new web site. We hope that you will learn how to use all our features very quickly and enjoy using it. If you have any questions simply create content on the site itself
Please note that this is a beta version, so any comments and suggestions will be appreciated and reviewed seriously
Should Infomate implement a "real number" slider from -1.0 to +1.0 allowing for finer-grained voting?
Blog api
You can now post stories to Infomate from some sites and desktop applications. Infomate supports several XML-RPC based blogging APIs such as the Blogger API, MetaWeblog API and Movable Type API.
To configure your blogging client for use with the site enter http://infomate.org/xmlrpc.php as the API URL.
At the moment, you wouldn't be able to specify tags or post polls using a blogging client.
Feel free to ask for support in the comments.
P.S. A bit more information is available here.
